WHAT IS THE Downriver Junior Football League?

The Downriver Junior Football League is the organization that we and all teams in our area belong to. 
Known as the DJFL, the league is the governing body with a board and strict rules governing all competition. 

The DJFL is comprised of 14 teams:

Allen Park - Bulldogs

Dearborn Heights -Raiders

Grosse Ile – Devils

Huron River – Yellow Jackets

Lincoln Park – Jr. Rails

Melvindale – Cardinals

Riverview - Pirates

Romulus - Flyers

Southgate - Vikings

Taylor – Seahawks

Washington - Blue

Washtenaw - Maize

Woodhaven – Warrior Elite

Wyandotte – Indians

There are 2 Conferences that are divided into an “upper” and “lower” division. 

Team records are  tallied on a rolling two year scale to determine
which division you belong in, and it helps establish the schedule.
