First, we thank the many Sponsors and Donors from prior years who have helped to make our program a great success.  Your support and generous contributions have allowed us to complete many improvements to our fields and purchase new equipment for our players.  

As we move forward for the future of Grosse Ile, including many changes at our schools, we will be impacted by the loss of playing fields accessible to those on our island.  Therefore, GIYRA a completely volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit, is working via the Field Development Authority (see FDA tab above) to install two new baseball and softball fields for use by future generations of Jr. Devils.  Beginning in 2024 the FDA has taken the appropriate steps to start the installation of these fields with the hope for use beginning in the 2025 season.

 Our goal is to continue efforts until we ensure that all future Jr. Devils will always have a place to call their home field, thereby reinstating pride in our players and families, and making GIYRA Baseball and Softball one of the premier leagues in the area.
